Kickoff the weekend with a festive Luau-themed party
Put on your best Hawaiian shirt and hula skirt and join us for food and fun as we welcome home the USAFHG family

Start the morning by attending the AFHGA Quarterly Board of Directors meeting from 9am to 10:30am in the USAFHG HQ Conf Room
Followed by an old fashioned, family-friendly picnic from 11am to 2pm at the USAFHG Campus
Inflatable slides, moon bounces, and outdoor games for kids of all ages
Relax and reconnect with friends under a 100' x 40' event tent
Purchase 70th Anniversary, USAFHG, and AFHGA merchandise
Join us for a barbecue luncheon with all the fixings and refreshments

Join us at 10:30am on the USAF Ceremonial Lawn bleachers and watch with pride as the current generation of USAFHG Ceremonial Guardsman conduct a mock USAF Full Honor Arrival Ceremony in honor of the AFHGA President
Followed by an USAF Full Honor Wreath Laying ceremony by the USAFHG Commander and the AFHGA President at the USAFHG Memorial to honor those Ceremonial Guardsmen who have marched in their last parade
Followed by a precision performance by your USAFHG Drill Team
This portion of the program is free and open to guests

Boards at 5pm at the D.C. Wharf and sails from 6pm to 8:30pm
Enjoy a breathtaking 2 1/2 hour cruise on the Potomac River
Great views of the Washington Monument, National Harbor, Old Town Alexandria and other iconic D.C. sights
Climate-controlled decks allow for cruising in all weather conditions with open-air viewing on the top deck
Dinner buffet with freshly prepared entrees, salads and desserts
Access to a well-stocked cash bar with wine, beer and cocktails

The AFHGA is please to announce our partnership with the Harborside Hotel for the 70th Anniversary Celebration Weekend
Harborside is located in Oxen Hill, MD in close proximity to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, National Harbor, and the MGM
The hotel recently underwent a $10M renovation, has ample free parking, and offers a courtesy shuttle to National Harbor and MGM
Harborside ownership is extremely excited to host USAFHG the Alumni has agreed to a discounted rate of $119 a night plus applicable taxes for USAFHG alumni (a full $64 lower than the any other hotel in National Harbor offered, with many tacking on exorbitant resort and parking fees)
